Before you can download the Novell tools for Gentoo, you must install layman and subversion.

layman and subversion setup instructions are found on the layman page.

Getting the Overlay

# layman -a n4g

Getting the Experimental Overlay

# layman -a n4g-experimental

Register a novell account

Go to  the novell site and register for an account.

You need the username and password to download some of the novell files during the emerge process.
